Last week, our colleague Zoltán Papp participated in the 12𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐏𝐒-𝐐𝐄𝐎𝐃 𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 on 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 in France, where he presented his latest results in 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐡𝐃 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡.
The conference brought together researchers and experts to share the latest developments in 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬, with a strong focus on ultrafast laser systems, special optical fibres, and new applications in medicine, spectroscopy, and surface treatment.
