We are proud that our team successfully installed and commissioned the first 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞-𝐈𝐑 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 at the IFSW - Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge, University of Stuttgart. The Furukawa system combines a 6 𝐤𝐖 𝐈𝐑 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫, a 5 𝐤𝐖 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫, and a 3D galvano scanner from YASKAWA Europe, enabling simultaneous operation of both lasers and opening new possibilities for advanced laser materials processing.
This installation marks an important milestone in Furukawa’s European market development, bringig its innovative Blue-IR hybrid laser technology to one of Europe’s leading laser research institutes.
The primary purpose of the system at IFSW is to support fundamental research, enabling researchers to explore new processing approaches and deepen the understanding of laser-matter interaction with hybrid blue and infrared laser technology.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this successful project! We look forward to seeing the scientific results and innovations that will emerge from this collaboration.
