In our ongoing efforts to expand partnerships and gain new insights, we attended the Open Day at TRUMPF Hungary<\/a> today. The event was a high-quality professional gathering at TRUMPF's impressive headquarters in G\u00f6d\u00f6ll\u0151, featuring informative presentations and machine and software demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were particularly interested in their lasers, as our FETI lab also houses the latest BRACE\u00ae BR1545 model (1.5kW blue laser\/4.5kW IR laser) and BR0400 model (400W blue laser) from our parent company, FURUKAWA ELECTRIC GROUP<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These BRACE models provide laser welding solutions for automotive companies developing and manufacturing components for e-mobility, as hybrid laser welding results high quality and stable deep welds.
In the hybrid laser welding,
\u30fbBlue beam works as efficient heat source due to the high absorption rate to copper. It helps copper melt and contributes to stabilizing the welding.
\u30fbIR beam makes a deep depth welding due to the high-energy density and small-spot beam with the help of the blue beam, resulting in less spatter, stable deep welds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
