This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Industrial Product and Design Engineering program at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) — a milestone that reflects decades of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in design and engineering education.
At the recent anniversary event, the program’s founders, pioneers, and current leaders came together to reflect on its journey. Industry partners, including FETI, also shared inspiring stories of successful collaborations with students and faculty.
A common theme echoed throughout the event: the inseparable link between technical precision and design excellence in product development. This dual focus is at the heart of the program — empowering students to deliver creative, forward-thinking solutions to real-world industrial challenges.
