FETI members took part in PRSE – Plastics Recycling Show Europe, the leading European event for plastics recycling, innovation and circular economy solutions .
PRSE clearly highlighted the key challenges of plastics recycling today: complex and composite waste streams, food-contact and quality requirements, scalability and economic feasibility.
At the same time, the event confirmed why innovation-driven recycling solutions are more important than ever. For us, PRSE is a key platform because we are directly involved in turning complex waste into value.
Through a new technology developed under a Furukawa Electric patent, we recycle beverage cartons and milk cartons into high‑quality raw material suitable for injection moulding and extrusion. This allows difficult‑to‑recycle packaging to re‑enter industrial production as a valuable, reliable material.
