The FETI team was proud to participate in this year’s Laser World of Photonics in Munich, representing Furukawa Electric and showcasing their cutting-edge high-power industrial laser solutions.
With 1,398 exhibitors and around 44,000 visitors, the event was a true hub of innovation. It was clear that every player is investing heavily in development, offering unique solutions — yet Furukawa Electric stood out with its 5kW blue laser and the Blue-IR hybrid laser, drawing significant attention.
This exhibition marked an important milestone in introducing Furukawa Electric's blue laser technology to the European market. Many visitors had the chance to explore its outstanding applications, such as copper welding and insulation coating removal.
Just outside Munich, in Budapest, Furukawa Electric operates a laser application lab equipped with both the blue and Blue-IR hybrid lasers. Here, we offer expert-supported testing and trials to help customers find the best-fit solutions for their needs.
